Springboard Creative owner/creative director, Kevin Fullerton, got to do what he loves most – brag about the City of Mission to a large group of people. ELGL (Emerging Local Government Leaders) hosted their 2017 conference in North Kansas City and invited Kevin to speak about Springboard’s contributions to downtown Mission.

The sold-out conference covered creative ways to cultivate strong downtown districts. Fullerton talked up the City of Mission and the Mission:Forward project that Springboard spearheaded during the Johnson Drive renovation.

He talked about working with the city government and the strategy behind the Mission:Forward project:

• Create a positive, unified voice
• Help bring visitors to Johnson Drive
• Help direct traffic during construction
• Build anticipation for unveiling of new downtown Mission nine months later
• Continue to build on excitement after reopening

Fullerton also talked about the Mission Art Walk, Mission Farm & Flower Market and the Mission Sunflower Festival – all events that Springboard played a huge role in bringing to the city.
