As a college student, Springboard Creative owner Kevin Fullerton attended the annual Columbia Scholastic Press Association convention in New York three times. It was one of the places where he was exposed to the world of magazine design.

Afterwards, Kevin met with several different schools to critique their student publications and help them plan for next year.

Kevin even got the chance to be on the same stage as Charlie Gibson of ABC News. (Not at the same time, but we still count it.)
