KC Small Business magazine was awarded the 2009 Ranly Award for Best Design during the 5th Anniversary Publishing Summit in Columbia, MO.

The September 2008 issue, the first under the redesign developed by Springboard Creative, was the top winner in the full-issue design category.

The Publishing Summit is an annual event of the Missouri Association of Publications (MAP), a non-profit professional association of producers of print and electronic publications, and businesses that provide support products and services to publishers.
